Homeless Shelter Community Outreach

Pastor Jonathan David has a tender heart especially when it comes to people going through tough times economically and otherwise. He has been involved in hospital ministry for years and is familiar with the pain and suffering some people go through.

Our Lord Jesus was on several occasions moved with compassion to meet the needs of people, spiritually and physically. Following His footsteps, the first time Pastor Jonathan David visited the homeless shelter in Phoenix, he nearly shed tears, seeing the difficult conditions those people were in. Don’t be judgemental. He came back and spoke to his personal assistant Bol Pan and they both decided the ministry should start doing something to help the people there. 

In June 2021, we started what we now call the “ HOMELESS SHELTER COMMUNITY OUTREACH “. On our first outing, we took Popeyes sandwiches, sodas, water, chips, men’s clothes and shoes, women’s clothes and shoes, Bibles and Christian books, toilet papers, and bath soaps. 

Since then, we have continued going there every two months and in December of 2021, we made a little difference by giving out new Christmas red hats to everyone. Our hearts were filled with joy, putting smiles on the faces of those people but also expressing the love of Jesus to them.

The Homeless Shelter Community Outreach has grown even bigger, thank God for other ministers of the gospel and their ministries who came on board to partner with us. 

As our Lord Jesus Christ tarries, we will continue this outreach. I encourage everyone to come and be part of this outreach. God bless you all.
